Florence has always remained one of my favorite cities, I studied here for a few years and worked for a while, it took me more than an hour by train but the effort was always worth it, it's a city you can't help but love, every every time I visit it I am as enchanted as the first time. Magnificent, stupendous, magical, there are no adjectives to describe it. Florence obviously has a very long history and is full of history, art, culture and architecture. Many historical figures lived or were born in Florence, painters, writers, architects, mathematicians, philosophers. Looking at the photos on my phone I found some photos I had taken during the Christmas period in this city where I had gone shopping and I said to myself "Damn I haven't hive all this beauty yet?" and here I am to fix it. Obviously all of Florence is beautiful but the Duomo and its square are the most characteristic places, with black and white marble architecture, Brunelleschi's dome, the baptistery, the tower with the bell tower, a cathedral so imposing that it can be seen from afar , so beautiful that you stay with your nose up to admire it.

Intorno alle Dolomiti no. 6 - Lago di Garda

Dopo tre giorni di fila trascorsi in trekking abbastanza impegnativo, era il momento di un cambiamento radicale nel modo in cui trascorriamo il nostro tempo libero. Mi fanno male le gambe, i primi calli appaiono sulle mie gambe, è ora di fare una pausa dalle montagne e andare al lago. Quando si pensa a un lago di montagna italiano, probabilmente nel 90% dei casi quello che mi viene in mente è l’enorme, ma anche il lago di Garda molto popolare.
Il lago ha una superficie di 370 chilometri quadrati, si estende per circa 55 chilometri, e raggiunge a nord così lontano nelle montagne che anche prima della prima guerra mondiale le sue coste settentrionali appartenevano all'impero austro-ungarico. L'opzione più popolare e molto economica per l'alloggio sul Lago di Garda è il campeggio in un sito di tende. Abbiamo avuto l'opportunità di guidare lungo l'intera sponda orientale del lago e vi assicuro che l'80% della costa è densamente costruito, per lo più con i campeggi. Abbiamo trovato il nostro posto per ricaricare le batterie in un campeggio vicino alla città di Crero. Tutto quello che dovevi fare era lasciare la tenda, camminare oltre il bar, attraversare la strada e si poteva saltare nell'acqua estremamente piacevolmente calda. Abbiamo nuotato un po', mangiato un po' di frutta, bevuto vino al tramonto, e la mattina l'abbiamo fatto di nuovo, ma questa volta senza vino. Without a doubt, the best place we visited during our stay in the Dolomites was the Seceda peak and the entire area around it. As I mentioned in the previous entry, after leaving for the village of Santa Magdalena and a many-kilometer detour around the Gruppo delle Odle massif, we reached the beautiful town of Santa Cristina Valgardena. While driving on the main road, I assumed that there must be a very interesting place nearby that attracts many tourists. The road was lined almost exclusively with hotels, restaurants, ski equipment rentals and sports shops. We climbed a narrow, winding road a few hundred meters above the town, where we left our car in a small, almost empty parking lot. The parking lot was almost empty, because from the parking lot to the summit we still had a few kilometers of trekking and about 700 meters of elevation to overcome. The vast majority of people visiting the Dolomites, when planning a trip to Seceda, choose the most convenient, but not at all cheap way of getting up, i.e. the cable car. Thanks to the fact that we chose a much more difficult option, we had an almost completely empty trail up to the cable car station. The cable car station is located just below the peak at an altitude of approximately 2,500 m above sea level. A very nice thing on the way to the Seceda peak is that there are at least a few restaurants along the trail where you can take a break, eat something and at the same time enjoy the amazing view of the nearby mountains. You can get almost to the very top by an ordinary car, and there is a quite dense network of roads leading to loosely scattered shepherd's huts along the entire slope. I suspect that currently none of these wooden huts serve shepherding functions anymore, and are owned by wealthy Italians who have set up mini summer houses in them with a view worth all the money.

Bez wątpienia najlepsze miejsce jakie odwiedziliśmy podczas naszego pobytu w Dolomitach to szczyt Seceda, oraz cała okolica znajdująca się wokół niego. Tak jak wspomniałem w poprzednim wpisie po wyjeździe w wioski Santa Magdalena i wielokilometrowym objeździe wokół masywu Gruppo delle Odle dotarliśmy do prześlicznego miasteczka Santa Cristina Valgardena. Już jadąc autem po głównej drodze przypuszczałem, że w okolicy musi znajdować się bardzo ciekawe miejsce które przyciąga licznych turystów. Wzdłoż drogi ciągnęły się niemal wyłącznie hotele, restauracji, wypożyczalnie sprzętu narciarskiego oraz sklepy sportowe. Wąską krętą dróżką wspięliśmy się dobre kilkaset metrów ponad miasteczko gdzie na małym niemal pustym parkingu zostawiliśmy nasz samochód. Parking był niemal pusty, a to dlatego, że z parkingu na szczyt czekało nas jeszcze dobre kilka kilometrów trekkingu, i mniej więcej 700 metrów przewyższenia do pokonania. Zdecydowana większość ludzi odwiedzająca Dolomity, gdy planuje wycieczkę na Seceda wybiera najwygodniejszy, ale wcale nie taki tani sposób dostania się w górę czyli kolejkę linową. Quando abbiamo pernottato nel piccolo villaggio alpino di Santa Magdalena sotto la pioggia, la copertura nuvolosa pesante e l'esclusione, l'unica cosa che era controllata era guardare le partite di calcio sui telefoni cellulari con le squadre polacche che lottavano per le azioni nelle loro tazze. Non so cosa sia stato più deludente, le scarse prestazioni di Lech Poznań e l'essere eliminato, o il tempo spiacevole. Fortunatamente, le previsioni per il giorno successivo erano le seguenti, quindi con fiducia rafforzata siamo andati. In mattinata, come ci aspettavamo, il tempo, anche se non perfetto, era decisamente migliore. Il cielo originale era coperto di nuvole, ma il livello delle nuvole si alzò e rivelò una bellissima catena montuosa diverse centinaia di metri oltre il villaggio. La gamma si chiama Gruppo delle Odle ed è composta da dodici cime appuntite che sono distribuite a circa 3000 metri sopra i mari a Furchetta, Sass Rigais, Piccola Fermeda, Croce del Seceda e Forcella di Mesdì. Il Gruppo delle Odle fa da sfondo a questo tranquillo borgo di Santa Magdalena. Il paesaggio più famoso di questa regione è la vista del paese con montagne sullo sfondo e la seconda, in quella più bella, con vista sulla chiesa di Chiesetta di San Giovanni in Ranui. La barca barocca risale al 1744. È stato aggiunto un campanile, sormontato da un tetto a forma di cipolla sormontato da una stella che simboleggia il martirio di Saint. Jan Nepomucen. Non abbiamo passato molto tempo in città, anche se potevamo fare un trekking molto bello ai piedi del Gruppo delle Odle, ma il mio discorso aveva piani migliori per quel giorno.
